Spanish Language Program

Each day the primary students will begin class singing a Spanish greeting song and/or various other songs which review the current lessons. This year the students have learned a variety of concepts so far, such as formal greetings, colors, numbers, days of the week, months, seasons and weather. In the weeks to come they will be learning more vocabulary about various topic. Some of which include, classroom objects, school employees, sizes, clothing, parts of the face and body.

The upper grades have been working on improving their Spanish dialogue and identification of key vocabulary. They have also had the opportunity to dive into the Spanish culture and understand how it compares to their personal culture. They will continue to explore the Spanish language through vocabulary, grammar and culture.
